Your screen time could use some screen time.

Gaming at home. Editing at midnight. Recording a podcast from the corner of your bedroom. Phones, cameras and screens are part of everyday life now, but the videos showing how we actually use them haven’t quite caught up.

For this challenge, we want you to capture what life looks like when we’re plugged in. Two winners will each receive a Homepage Highlight, putting their work front and center on Pexels and giving it the chance to reach millions of people worldwide.

Think hands on controllers, friends gathered around a screen, creators filming on their phones, podcast setups, video calls with family, or someone surrounded by the beautiful mess of cables that somehow keeps everything running.

Keep it current. Keep it human. And please, spare us the suspiciously spotless desk with one lonely laptop on it.

IDEAS TO INSPIRE YOU

* Capture controllers, keyboards, headsets, handheld devices, and lived-in setups
* Look beyond the usual screens, from wearables and smart home tech to robotics, cameras, microphones, and other devices people use every day
* Show creators filming, editing, recording podcasts, livestreaming, or setting up their gear
* Unbox something new, from a phone or pair of headphones to a camera, controller, or other piece of tech
* Try POV video that puts us right in the moment, from picking up a controller to setting up a camera or scrolling on the commute
* Show us tech-filled desks, studios, and workspaces
* Look for local details and real spaces that make the moment feel like yours

A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN FRAME

* Capture people actually using technology rather than simply posing beside it
* Go vertical where you can, especially for moments that feel natural on a phone screen
* Keep videos at least 5 seconds long
* Choose real homes, streets, cafés, studios, gaming spaces, and workplaces over neutral staged environments
* Keep it yours. We want real moments created by real people

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

* Get your work seen by a global community of creatives, brands, and storytellers
* Help people find more useful, human videos of technology in everyday life
* Share what being plugged in looks like where you live
* Gain recognition through a Homepage Highlight

HOW TO ENTER

* Capture everyday life with technology and devices on video
* Share your work using the “Join the Challenge” button on this page
* Submit as many videos as you like before the deadline
* Cross fingers (optional but recommended)

Deadline: October 16, 11:59 PM UTC
