You know what saves a project in the editing room? Killer b-roll. It is the blur of city lights reflecting in a rainy street puddle. The slow pan across a chaotic workspace. The satisfying sizzle of a pan right before the chef plates up.

When the main footage is not enough, b-roll brings the magic. Right now, video editors are frantically hunting for cinematic cutaways and scene-setters to glue their stories together. We want you to capture them.

Your Mission: Capture the Perfect Cutaway

We are looking for highly usable, dynamic b-roll that sets a scene or bridges a gap. Show us:

* 🌆 **Set the Scene:** Streets waking up at dawn. Offices winding down for the night. Dark weather rolling in over a city skyline. Trains arriving, busy markets, and chaotic kitchens. Give an editor the perfect opening frame to start their story.
* 🚶 **People Doing Things:** Real life in motion. Someone commuting, creating, cooking, or frantically typing an email. We want natural, authentic actions that make a scene feel like a real human actually lives there.
* ☕ **The Useful Little Details:** Hands hard at work. Fresh coffee pouring into a mug. A smartphone screen lighting up. Shoelaces getting tied. Give us close-ups that add rich texture, without making viewers wonder what on Earth they are looking at.
* 🌧 **Movement and Atmosphere:** The blur of passing traffic. Shifting afternoon shadows. Neon reflections in a rainy window. Capture the crowds, the empty spaces, and all those lovely in-between moments that help a heavy edit breathe.

What's in it for you?

Three winners will take home cash prizes:

* 🥇 **1st place:** $500 USD
* 🥈 **2nd place:** $250 USD
* 🥉 **3rd place:** $250 USD

Beyond the prize money, your clips will power projects worldwide, from massive documentaries to slick commercials to that heavy edit that needed exactly your rainy window. And you'll see it all happen through your stats: real views, real downloads, real impact.
